PYREX resin reaction kettles has a sturdy wall and a tooled flat flange at top which has a groove in the face to take a Viton O-ring for a greaseless tight seal. Kettles are without constrictions at the top and have a flat bottom. There is a gently sloping contour at junction of side wall and bottom. Use with heating mantle only. PYREX Replacement Covers for Reaction Kettles

These replacement PYREX kettle covers fit resin reaction kettles. They (500mL-1000mL) have openings to accommodate three 24/40 Standard Taper joints and one 34/45 Standard Taper joint. The replacement cover for 2-4L have openings to accommodate four 24/40 Standard Taper joints. Interchangeable Standard Taper joints allow quick assembly with condensers, stirrers and funnels. Cover flanges are finely ground for a tight seal.

Corning McCarter Clamps for Reaction Kettles

The Corning stainless steel horseshoe-shaped clamps are designed to connect two pieces of glass that have 5 inch diameter flat flanges.
