The Barnstead Atmosphere Controlled Ashing Furnaces are ideally suited for coal and coke ashing procedures. There are 3-4 air exchanges per minute, and holds 750۫C for 2 hours and then turns itself off. Adjust the air flow with the adjustable gas flow meter/valve (0-80 1/mim.) in the front. The stainless steel manifold pre-warms incoming gases and provides maximum temperature gradient of only ±3۫C at 750۫C. There is a 0.25" ID or 0.375" OD hose barb on back of unit to connect with an inert gas line. No power cord is supplies; electrical connection requires fixed wiring.
--All F6000 units have 2 dual-purpose stainless steel trays and can accommodate 24 (30 ml) porcelain crucibles, or 38 (10 ml) quartz crucibles.
