BioMasher Disposable Homogenizer

Homogenize and strain samples for nucleic acid extractions with the revolutionary all-in-one BioMasher sample preparation device. The unit consists of three single-use components; a micro homogenizer for grinding the sample, a porous filter column insert for straining, and a microcentrifuge tube to collect the final homogenate. The BioMasher is a versatile, easy-to-use tool well suited for both genomic and proteomic research.

Additional features are:

BioMasher™ yields can be dramatically increased when the homogenizer is attached to the end of a lightweight handheld power drill.
Two configurations available: 0- Ring for use with soft tissues, and without o-ring, for tissues that need to be grinded to free up cellular material prior to centrifugation through the membrane.
