Description

Designed to meet AABB, ANRC, and FDA standards for storage of whole blood and blood components. Units feature the IntrLogic* microprocessor control system, positive airflow systems, and industrial quality cabinet construction. Extra-strength refrigeration compressors are designed for industrial, clinical, and scientific use. Temperature is factory preset to 4°C and is adjustable from 1 to 8°C. Icon-based controls and displays include graphic references for universal operation. A key-operated, triple-position master switch controls power to all systems for extra safety and setpoint security. Audible and visual alarms warn of power failure and temperature deviation of 5.5°C above or 1.5°C below setpoint. A push button alarm test and battery backup assure system readiness and sensor continuity. An extra-long alarm probe lead allows manual testing if necessary.

Refrigerators are equipped with an advanced defrost sensor to manage the defrost cycle, minimizing trace amounts of frost buildup to maintain refrigeration coil efficiency for responsive and economical perfomance.

Positive, forced air circulation maintains temperature uniformity at all shelf levels. Directional airflow assures quick recovery after door openings. Self-closing, lockable doors. Features glass doors and a seven-day temperature recorder.
