The unique biohazard response blanket absorbs up to one-half gallon of body fluids, clearly identifies the area as a biohazard and eliminates the need for messy powders or beads. The broad spectrum phenolic-type disinfectant is effective against most known bloodborne pathogens including HIV, the mycobacterium that causes tuberculosis, Herpes Simplex 1 and 2, and influenza. Hand sanitizing gel cleanses the hands afterwards. Comes with bilingual instructions (English and Spanish) and easy-to-understand graphics. Kit contains: Biohazard response blanket, disinfectant (2 oz), scoop/scraper, vinyl gloves, biohazard disposal bag, two absorbent towels, hand sanitizing gel and exposure report form.
